Christopher Columbus High School serves motivated students through a program incorporating innovative academic curricula and the study of fine arts. Theme-based curriculum instruction is used to emphasize personal responsibility, cross-cultural awareness, leadership, and ecological literacy. The result at Christopher Columbus High School is that students gain the self-understanding, intellectual strength, and relationship skills they need to become leaders for positive change. The student body is diverse with a big majority of the population being Hispanic and Black. Teachers at Christopher Columbus High School celebrate the hard work, curiosity, and self-expression of the students. Students take pride in their independence, organization, and confidence.
