Chester Elementary School is located at 2 Herbert Drive Chester, NY and it serves grades K-5 in Orange County. The kindergarten program is based on a developmental approach to learning. The center-based promotes the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth of each child. They work to promote self-esteem and self-confidence, acceptance, belonging, trust, friendship, offering our students a time to grow and develop.
Chester Elementary School is committed to providing a well rounded curriculum designed to meet the needs and interests of our students. In addition, our curriculum is supported by a variety of opportunities for involvement in extra-curricular activities in athletics, the arts, clubs and service organizations.
Officials at Chester Elementary School know that community involvement is on main factor to the success of a school. Parents, community groups, teachers, and administrators, will continue to work together to provide a well-rounded education for the students of the school. There is a continued invitation to parents to be active in the PTA, to volunteer at the school, to attend school events, and to support our children as they are going through a challenging time in their lives.
