Chenango Valley Middle School is located at 1160 Chenango Street Binghamton, NY. Team teaching is one of the methods practiced at this school for 7th and 8th graders. Chenango Valley Middle has been using this approach to education since 1996, which is made up of three teaching teams. There is a tremendous learning here for students as they offer plenty of courses like Computers, Music, Physical Education, Foreign Language, Art, Technology, Home & Careers, and others.
Nearly half the students are involved in one of the schools sports programs while other enjoys SADD, Ski Club, Drama, or Student Council. The Terra Nova Extended Response Exam is required to be taken by all 7th graders. 8th grade students must take the New York State Assessments in Math, ELA, Science, Technology, and Social Studies.
