Chenango Bridge Elementary School is located at 1160 Chenango Street Binghamton, NY. The school accepts students for learning in grades 4th, 5th, and 6th and it sits in the middle of the Chenango Bridge community. Math and English Language Arts are at the top of the basic skills that are focused on in academics at Chenango Bridge Elementary. 75% of the students at this school are involved in some type of music programs offered along with a wonderful science lab. The school library is considered to be the main brain of the school that houses thousands of resources that are retrieved automatically in the research center and in the library classes, as well.
Parents can expect homework two to four nights per week for their students and depending on the grade level, it can require up to 1½ hours after school to do the assignments. The “Agenda book” is used to communicate with parents on a daily basis by teachers about their students. Chenango Bridge Elementary adheres to the New York State Standards and endeavors to prepare its pupils to be ready to pass the New York State tests and the Terra Nova tests.
