Charles O. Dickerson High School is located at 100 Whig Street Trumansburg, NY serving grades 9-12 in Tompkins County. The purpose or goal at this School is to educate students, promote self-esteem, and develop a sense of personal accountability and achievement. Massena Central Schools provides a comprehensive, integrated curriculum delivered in a nurturing and orderly environment by qualified staff that believes that all children can learn. The School aims to develop in all students a desire to increase their knowledge and use this knowledge to the full extent of their potential in order to better understand themselves, their fellow men and their surroundings, as well as to encourage appreciation and respect toward them.

Recognizing the uniqueness of each student, the school staff pledges to foster a desire for educational excellence that will help students achieve their full potential intellectually, physically, socially, morally and culturally. Acknowledging the rapid social, cultural, economical, political and technological changes in American society, the school encourages innovative courses, programs and activities designed to help our students to deal competently with these changes and to prepare them for effective citizenship.

The staff is first-rate. They are knowledgeable, energetic, and committed to the students and their families. The school is very fortunate to have such dedicated staff members who care about each other and each child. You will find this school community very active working with all children to provide a foundation for students to reach their maximum potential through a comprehensive, exact standard to opportunities to empower children to be independent thinkers, problem solvers, and responsible citizens.
