About  
Celia Cruz Bronx High School of Music School was founded by Dr. William Rodriguez, and this little school includes several vocal and instrumental ensembles. There are 4 types of ensembles, Vocal, Strings, Band, and Piano. The classroom environment is disciplined, structured, and inclusive so as to meet the needs of all students while fulfilling the mandate of excellence set forth in the New York State Standards and Assessments. Students enjoy the quality courses and the in depth learning environment, which helps them appreciate learning, which will stay with them through their school years and beyond. Celia Cruz Bronx High School of Music School Teachers endeavor to create an educational environment that will cultivate the educational, social, and emotional development of every student. Learning through child centered instruction with active and project based learning that correlates with the standards set by the state of New York each student has the chance to grow and learn.
