Cedar Place Elementary School works to create a society in which their children will accomplish the skills and self-confidence required to become well-built leaders, life-long learners, and responsible, compassionate contributors to the community. At Cedar Place Elementary School students are instructed using thematic units taught within the Core Knowledge philosophy. It is an integrated curriculum of language arts, history, geography, mathematics and science. Cedar Place Elementary School is involved with several community projects such as D.A.R.E., Greyston Graden Project, and Beczak Environmental Center among others.
Students learn from Implement school themes and philosophies that help them understand subject matter and achieve academic success and the school Uses technology as a tool for learning with at least five computers in every classroom, laboratories, library-media centers, and Internet access. It is expected that using teachers as facilitators, all members of the learning community including parents, teachers, and students will set clear expectations which will empower students to reach their full potential.
