Cayuga School supports parent’s involvement and membership in the PTA and knows it is a very worthwhile organization. The PTA is comprised of a committed group of parents who, through working together with the entire community, strive to support the school to create an environment where all students can reach their full potential. Cayuga School program's main focus is on developing literacy, developing readiness in reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills taught through theme units. Theme units are units of study in which lessons in various subject areas, such as language, math, science, and social studies, are related to one another. Together, these lessons provide the focus on a specific topic, subject, or major theme. Cayuga School prepares all students with the knowledge, competencies, social responsibilities, and positive self-image to be life long learners and contributing members of society. The goal is to provide programs and conditions that maximize learning success so that all students meet individual high-level performance standards.
