This Public school is governed by the Canajoharie Central School District Board of Education and it serves the community of Canajoharie, New York, in Montgomery County. The School Board is comprised of unpaid officials elected by the voters to take the formal legal actions and establish the basic policies for the conduct of the schools. The chief executive officer of the District (Superintendent) and is trusted with the duty of seeing that the Board policies and education laws are adhered to by the staff. At Canajoharie Senior High School, Literacy in technology provides our students with access to an ever-changing world dependent on information. In order to participate in our technological age effectively, our students must be information navigators, critical thinkers and analyzers, creators of knowledge and communicators using a variety of technologies. Integrating technological instruction throughout the curriculum provides the essential skills to meet state and national learning standards. This Senior High School accepts students for grades 9-12th and as a response to the New York State Learning Standards, students and staff are working more collaboratively on projects.
Canajoharie Senior High School, believes that the integration of technology throughout all areas of the curriculum is a critical component of an engaged learning environment. Our curriculum documents provide the space for a tie between technology use and existing classroom instruction, but there is a need to ensure that all students are provided equal opportunity to use technology as a tool for learning.
