C.A. Bouton Middle School High School Teaches programs in business administration, accounting, marketing, management, law and finance. The school knows how important it is that all students have knowledge of the economic and financial world in which they live. Starting in grade 9 a diverse English curriculum is offered. An honors program is available to students in grade 10. Honors English in grade 11 is a combine course with AP U.S. History. Seniors may elect to take AP English Literature. Instruction begins in middle school.
Most students earn one high school credit in grade 8. French and Spanish are offered through Level 5. College credit is received from the University at Albany for completion of the fourth and fifth levels. All students must pass three high school math courses to graduate. Students may progress through Math Course III, Pre-Calculus and AP Calculus AB. AP Statistics can be taken as an elective. P.E. is required each year. A Health course is also a diploma requirement. Regent’s coursework is offered in Earth Science, Biology, and Chemistry & Physics.
