Brushton Grade School is located at 758 County Route 7 in Brushton, New York. The Brushton Grade School is actually in one large building that is also home to the middle level grades and the high school grades. The Brushton Grade School level provides an exceptional education for students in grades kindergarten through 5th grades.
This school takes pride in upholding the mission statement of the district while providing an education to the whole child, which includes not only academics but the social and emotional needs as well.
At Brushton Grade School, every week is met with the Monday Morning meeting, which is held at the middle level gymnasium. During this morning meeting, students are honored for outstanding work done, exceptional sportsmanship, perfect attendance, being polite and kind on the bus, and adhering to school rules. Along with honoring students for their accomplishments, teacher’s community members are honored for their contributions to our school. Each year a new theme is used in which various songs are composed and sang to support the theme. Each member of the school team works to strengthen the character education components of Honesty, Courage, Compassion, Citizenship, Determination, Dedication, Respect, and Responsibility.
