Bronx Health Sciences High School is for students who want to engage in a rigorous and challenging academic program designed to explore the health sciences and health-related career opportunities. Students are expected to engage in community service and internships that help them explore career options. Interdisciplinary projects provide a chance to discover unifying themes and to find connections that enrich students' worlds. BHS is housed in Harry Truman High School. Curriculums recognize the integrity of the child’s life as a child and aims to cater for his or her needs and potential as they evolve day by day. By meeting these needs, the curriculum enriches the child’s life and the foundations are laid for happiness and fulfillment in later education and in adult life.
