Bronx Academy of Letters Bronx teachers work to teach students in Language Arts, science, mathematics, global studies, and U.S. history. At Bronx Academy courses include interdisciplinary project-based learning. All students attend advisory daily for one hour to go over their compiled Portfolios and students write a guided self-assessment and evaluate their classes. The Bronx Academy of Letters Bronx academic program spans grades six through twelve. Their core curriculum is standards-based, with a powerful center on increasing literacy and problem-solving across the disciplines. They also have a separate four-year series of writing classes in addition to a four-year series of literature classes.
