Brocton Middle High School is located at 138 West Main Street Brocton, NY and it provides education for grades 6th through 12th. Educators are very talented and they know that the latest requirements handed down by the State Education Department that commands more rigorous courses and examinations. Interesting enough the incorporation of Brocton came about some 83 years after Elijah Fay, formerly of Southborough, Mass., purchased all of lot 20 which formed the west portion of the Village of Brocton and built a log cabin. His brother, Hollis, in 1813, cleared three or four acres and built a log cabin on the northwest part of lot 13 which was the east section of Brocton.
At Brocton Middle High School the staff and teachers work very hard to incorporate literacy learning in all areas such as; social studies, science, math, health, physical education, and the arts. They know working together to achieve their vision and goals for the students are the biggest concern. Brocton Middle High School knows all children can be successful learners. The teachers apply effective instructional strategies to meet each student’s individual needs. Throughout the learning experience at Brocton Middle High School, teachers, staff, and parents work together to ensure the best in educational opportunities are available along with providing the best teaching skills for each student at their own level of understanding.
