Broadway Middle School is located at 1000 Broadway in Elmira, New York in Chemung County, which can be found in southern New York. Broadway Middle School provides educational opportunities for students in grades 6th through 8th.
The staff and teachers work along side parents to create a learning environment that will enable each student to achieve success to the best of their ability and believe all children can learn. The students are placed in teams for a better learning experience that enables the students to learn to work well with others while doing their best for themselves and their team. Sixth grade teams include the Wallabies, Dragonflies, Dolphins, Cheetahs, Manatees, and the Spider Monkeys. Seventh grade teams include Bengal Tigers, Jaguars, and Panthers. Eighth grade teams include Timberwolves, Pandas, and Snow Leopards.
Along with the team concept for learning Broadway Middle School provides an excellent art and music program where every student can enjoy being part of a production. Teachers, staff, and parents, work together to fulfill the best learning environment while providing the best educational tools available for students to learn and grow. This transitional time from elementary school to high school is a major change in attitude and in the learning process because of this Broadway Middle School endeavors to work with students to prepare them for the next step in their education.
