Boyle Road Elementary School is a Literacy Collaborative School, which means teachers are engaged in continual professional development that provides a powerful instructional model for literacy. The curriculum is aligned with New York State standards, providing the range of subject area skills and knowledge that students will need to enjoy productive and rewarding lives. In full day Kindergarten students become readers, writers, thinkers and friends. As they progress through the grades, the children may also join enrichment clubs, take musical instrument lessons, and participate in such special events as bicycle rodeo and talent show. Boyle Road Elementary works to lay the foundation for each student to attain the highest possible level of academic, social, physical and emotional development. Accepting the premise that all children can learn, the school community will provide a supportive environment which will nurture and encourage thinking, learning and creating.
