Black River School is located at 160 Leray Street Black River, NY. This school provides education to grades K through 5 in Jefferson County, New York. The curriculum has been revised and aligned to reflect the New York State Learning Standards and it emphasizes the development of basic literacy skills, for example, reading, writing, listening and speaking, math, social studies and science. An important emphasis is also placed upon providing students a well rounded curriculum with exceptionally strong programs in music, physical education and art.
