Bellport Middle School has a long-standing set of expectations for conduct on school property and at school functions. These expectations are based on the principles of civility, mutual respect, citizenship, character, tolerance, honesty and integrity. Parental support and encouragement of academic success is very important so every effort is made to establish and maintain communication between home and school. Students at Bellport Middle School really enjoy the library system that offers virtual presentations and communication. The school curriculum has been developed to challenge and stimulate the minds of students and keep them up to State standards of learning. The physical education department coaches focus on the importance of fitness and the development of a healthful lifestyle. Through team sports, cooperative games, and individualized fitness programs the physical education programs will teach students cooperation, and sportsmanship.
