Bedford Road School provides excellent counseling services available for academic, peer, social problems, or any other student issues. There are several different cultures and religions attending this Bedford Road so it has a very diverse background of students. Bedford Teachers help students become responsible citizens and lifelong learners. With the intent that every student will be well equipped for the pursuit of excellence, to be respectful, have compassion, and be able to meet life challenges.
Academic Intervention Services are intended to assist students who are at risk of not achieving the State learning standards in English language arts, mathematics, social studies and science, or who are at risk of not gaining the knowledge and skills needed to meet or exceed designated performance levels on State assessments. The additional instruction and/or support are provided in various school settings.
Reading Specialists provide instruction for identified students on a regular basis throughout the school year. Reading specialists work in conjunction with the classroom teachers to target needed areas of instruction and to serve as a resource person.
