Bay Elementary School community is very active working with all children to provide a foundation for students to reach their maximum potential through comprehensive, exact standards to teach children to be independent thinkers, problem solvers. Parents are provided with important school news and events, including a monthly calendar of activities. Teaching strategies are base on fundamental building blocks, designed to help them become independent and mature. These blocks support good personal traits like; gaining independence, becoming problem solvers, being good members of a community, and studying and learning in groups or by themselves. Reading is fundamental and students attending this elementary school with the common goal that all young students are able to read by the end of the third grade.
