Bardonia Elementary School is located at 31 Bardonia Road Bardonia, NY and it serves grades K-5 in Rockland County. Bardonia Elementary embarks on a goal is to teach the students how to use age appropriate software. Their computer lab has 28 computers, the 3rd graders have AlphaSmart word processors and the 5th graders have access to laptops. Each classroom has 3 computers and a plasma screen to support the learning process. They try to challenge the students in all grade level with research projects using only District approved websites. They intend to spark creativity by using presentation and art software. They hope your child leaves Bardonia Elementary with knowledge of computers that they can expand upon in the middle school, high school and beyond!
The mission of the PTA is to support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the school, in the community, and before government bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children; to assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children and to encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools of this nation. The Bardonia Elementary School Council of PTA's is apart of the local PTA's in the Clarkstown Central School District including the elementary schools, high schools, middle school, SEPTA and Jesse Kaplan. The purpose of the organization is to provide information, training, support, and guidance to the units. The PTA Council holds monthly meetings attended by the Council Board, representatives from each PTA unit and the Superintendent of Schools.
