Arrowhead Elementary School teachers attend to mathematical concepts and their application in the real world. Science, social studies, health and technology instruction are also important components of their comprehensive curriculum. Students in first through sixth grade also receive weekly instruction in art, music, health and physical education. Bi-weekly lessons are also planned for students in the library to address research, study and library science skills. Kindergarten students receive weekly lessons in music, art and physical education and attend a library session with the librarian. Students also receive regular instruction in our computer lab to develop technology skills and competencies. Arrowhead Elementary School teachers aim to develop inquiring, caring, confident, principled and academically successful students who will become contributors in the creation of a better school, home, neighborhood and global community.
