Ark Community Charter School works to create within the city a community that fosters the academic, social and spiritual growth of our members in an environment that is both supportive and challenging. In this community everyone is celebrated, respected, and heard; all are intellectually engaged, socially concerned, ethically responsible, and culturally open-minded. A charter school is a public school that is free from local district control, regulations and contracts, allowing teachers to educate children free from the administrative burdens associated with traditional public schools.
