Alternative Learning Center is located at 900 Mill Road in West Seneca, New York. This wonderful alternative learning center is a wonderful facility that gives a second chance to students in ninth through 12 grades.
The West Seneca Alternative Learning Center was designed for students that for some reasons were not successful at completing high school. The school offers smaller classrooms, which allow a more one on one learning environment, which aids students in succeeding with individualized attention, and caring dedicated teachers that strive to ensure the success of each student.
The Alternative Learning Center adheres to the mission and vision statements of the district while providing the same curriculum offered by both high schools in West Seneca Central School District.
In order to attend West Seneca Alternative Learning Center students must be recommended by their principal, guidance counselors, and teachers of prior school. The community and parents work together to ensure that the needs of every student are met whether academically, emotionally, or socially. All educational tools and resources are provided so every student has the same chance within their own abilities to succeed at all they endeavor to become productive members of their community and society.
