Alfred E. Smith Vocational High School teaches English Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science. The School is located in New York City District # 7 and for the last to report cards it has been marked as needs Improvement. The student body is diverse with a big majority of the population being Hispanic and Black. Teachers at Alfred E. Smith Vocational High School celebrate the hard work, curiosity, and self-expression of the students. Students take pride in their independence, organization, and confidence. They cultivate and pursue wide and varied ambitions to be anything from poets, journalists, and musicians to politicians, doctors, and scientists.
