Alexander Hamilton High School is located at 98 South Goodwin Avenue Elmsford, NY serving grades 7-12 in Westchester County. Westchester County is home to more indoor and outdoor activities that can keep anyone entertained with most any special interest they care to pursue. School officials aim to teach every student educational excellence that will help students achieve their full potential intellectually, physically, socially, morally and culturally. Staff members want to input innovative courses, programs and activities designed to help students to deal competently with these changes and to prepare them for effective citizenship.
Alexander Hamilton High School serves a diverse, multilingual student population of immigrants to the United States. They seek to provide each student with a language-rich learning experience that moves them to a point where they can read, write and communicate effectively in English and their native language. The students will learn to use their minds well to critically analyze and respond to complex real-world issues. They will use what they learn to become successful academically and professionally and to become advocates for themselves and their communities.
The Elmsford Parent Teacher Association is dedicated to strengthening the school, supporting the teachers and families, and securing for their children a valuable education. They aim to make possible, through programs and activities, a productive connection between homes and the school.
