Alden Place Elementary School is located at 41 Alden Place in Millbrook, New York. Alden Place Elementary School is one of the two elementary schools in the Millbrook Central School which provides educational opportunities for students in 3rd through 6th grades.
The staff, faculty, and the administration support the mission statement and the goals set forth by the Millbrook Board of Education that every student will be provided with several opportunities in order to succeed. The success may be academic or emotional. Alden Place Elementary School believes that success is not only measured by a students level of intelligence but that success includes the whole child. Holistic learning is verified by differentiated and interdisciplinary approaches to teaching. The school uses vast learning styles and ratings tailored for the individual student.
Alden Place Elementary School is working together with teachers, staff, and parents to create the best learning environment whereas each student will achieve a quality education. Sub-committees are working to improve the quality of education throughout the school with emphasis on technology and library areas.
Students at Alden Place Elementary School enjoy all the basic educational courses along with the chance to compete in the local science fair and other community activities and events.
