Albany Avenue Elementary School

About
Albany Avenue Elementary School PTA is made up of parents, teachers, school administrators and staff working together for the good of the children and in school. The PTA has many activities, fund-raisers and services provided throughout the year, and it is their hope that every family can participate in some way so that we may better serve our children and their needs. The staff, faculty, and the administration support the mission statement and the goals set forth by the Farmingdale Union Free School District that every student will be provided with several opportunities in order to succeed.

The success may be academic or emotional. Albany Avenue Elementary School believes that success is not only measured by a student’s level of intelligence but that success includes the whole child. Holistic learning is verified by differentiated and interdisciplinary approaches to teaching. The school uses vast learning styles and ratings tailored for the individual student.
