William Floyd Schools

William Floyd Union Free School District intends for safety to come first, so they have installed the latest in electronic surveillance and warning systems to protect the students, staff, visitors and facility members. Each school has emergency management plans that are reviewed periodically and modified whenever new emergency techniques become available. All of the schools schedule regular emergency drills and exercises to ensure they are prepared if action is required. The William Floyd Schools provide provides interscholastic athletic opportunities for boys and girls. There are 64 teams and 18 different sports played in the district. Through William Floyd’s Athletic Program students will learn teamwork, sportsmanship, winning and losing, and hard work. Learn self-discipline, build self-confidence and develop skills to handle competitive situations and acquire the skills and knowledge to live healthy lifestyles through their continued sports activities.
