Valley Stream High Schools

Valley Stream Central High School District is known for being only one of three districts in the state of New York that caters to students in grades seventh through twelfth exclusively.

The district is home to four schools including Valley Stream Memorial Junior High School, Valley Stream Central High School, Valley Stream North High School, and Valley Stream South High School.

The district provides excellent educational opportunities for students to excel with the most innovative and revolutionary tools available including such programs as Most Challenging Program. This program promotes the chance for every student to take on the most meticulous academic program according to his or her ability. The majority of the students in the district begin their schooling towards a Regent diploma.

This is only one program offered by the district. Other programs include career prep programs, advanced placement programs, science research, special education, music program, and summer school.

The Valley Stream Central High School District is also proud of their extra curricular activities, which include sports teams, student newspapers, student government, dramatic arts, class councils, yearbooks, and other special interest clubs.
