Tri-Valley Schools
Tri-Valley Central School District is located at 34 Moore Hill Road Grahamsville, NY serving grades PK-12 in Sullivan County. The District continues to build a school community with deep roots that will enable our children to excel in a changing world and that will enable our staff to continue to grow professionally. They will make available to our community a safe school facility that will be a place to support family activities through school activities and functions. Their focus will support strong community values and our educational plan will produce global thinking students who will be effective communicators and lifelong learners.
Tri-Valley Central School District believes that technology is not an add-on or separate class, but is directly connected to the classroom curriculum. This belief has made technology integration easier and smoother for students and staff alike. Elementary students are using the computers to write and illustrate original stories and reports; they are creating multimedia presentations; they are communicating with students around the world; they are communicating with scientists through the use of the internet and e-mail; and the students can do all of the communicating right in their classrooms!
Tri-Valley Central School District will continue to link the future development of the technology support system to the district’s school improvement priorities. As the district seeks to transform curriculum, revitalize teaching and learning, and restructure the organization, the technology support system will be devoted to developing and supporting technology applications that promote these priorities. Thus, as the district gives renewed emphasis to lifelong learning, thinking and problem-solving skills, and to creating real world instructional environments, the technology support system will provide the applications that facilitate these shifts.
