Sodus Central School District is located at 6264 Route 88 Sodus, NY serving grades Pk-12 in Wayne County. Wayne County offers a distinctive blend of urban amenities that include; Golf, Parks, Skiing, Hunting, Chimney Bluffs, Seaway Trail, Snowmobile, Erie Canal and Nature adventure. The District Officials recognize the uniqueness of each student, the school staff pledges to foster a desire for educational excellence that will help students achieve their full potential intellectually, physically, socially, morally and culturally. Acknowledging the rapid social, cultural, economical, political and technological changes in American society, the school encourages innovative courses, programs and activities designed to help our students to deal competently with these changes and to prepare them for effective citizenship.

The Sodus Central School District Board of Education establishes policies and adopts regulations for the conduct of the public schools. Its seven members, who serve without pay, are elected by the voters of the district for a term of three years. The mission of the Sodus Central School District, powered by the nurturing force of parents, school, and a community enriched by human diversity, is to graduate 100% of our students with joy for life and learning, academic competence, skills, and strategies enabling them to be responsible citizens in an ever-changing global society.

Sodus Central School District is knowledgeable, energetic, and committed to the students and their families. The school District is very fortunate to have such dedicated staff members who care about each other and each child.
