Schenectady City School District is located at 108 Education Drive Schenectady, NY Serving grades PK-12. The Schenectady City School District is an urban school system serving over 10,000 students in grades Pre-K through twelve. The district includes more than 900 teachers in twelve - soon to be fifteen elementary schools, an early childhood education center, three middle schools, one high school, a career center and an adult education center.

The School District staff remains devoted to supporting each student in academic, social, and moral growth to promote a lifelong commitment to learning and to encourage responsible contributions to society. One of the greatest strengths of the Schenectady School District is the rich diversity among the student body. Schenectady is comprised of a population of students who speak more than 27 different languages including Spanish, Pashto and Farsi.
