Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District is located at 1490 Route 488 Clifton Springs, NY and provides education to grades K-12 in Ontario County. As elected representatives of the community, the seven-member Board of Education strives to ensure the best possible program for all students at the most reasonable cost. Board members are elected to three-year terms. All Board Members are volunteers who serve without pay. Board members must follow New York State law in the provision of an educational program and all other aspects of the school district.

All the schools in the Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District from elementary through high school actively stay on top of all the newest learning programs to ensure that student receives the most inventive methods of education available. Keeping in mind not every student is the same, the Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District adheres to searching for the best way to provide individual teaching methods that will best suite each and every student’s ability to comprehend and learn.

The surrounding community is made up of both friendly and supportive parents that desire a quality education for their children and remain very active with the PTA to ensure learning excellence. With teachers and staff adhering to the philosophy “that all children can learn” coupled together with supportive parents the Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District provides a tremendous learning opportunity for education.
