Penn Yan Schools
Penn Yan Central School District desires that all students will be able to function independently as enthusiastic life-long learners and productive members of society. The district provides each member of their school community with access to advanced technological tools, information resources, and training to become information literate members of the global community. Working with the plans that all students will be challenged to their highest level of ability; mentally, physically, socially, and psychologically.
Historically Penn Yan, was incorporated in1833; the town is about half a mile below the foot of the east arm of Crooked Lake upon a pleasant plain. The Penn Yan Central School District not only provides an excellent educational program, but also promotes the growth of each student through their own ability, assurance, and pride in a learning environment where each person can grow to become understanding, responsible, and productive citizens in an ever-changing world.
