Owego-Apalachin Schools

Owego-Apalachin Central School District is located at 36 Talcott Street Owego, NY serving grades Pk-12 in Tioga County. Tioga is an extraordinary, rural county in the southeastern corner of the Finger Lakes Region. Historic homes, rolling hillsides, charming country shops, riverside restaurants, unique farm tours, wonderful festivals and a beautiful river make a trip to this part of the state a memorable visit and great community to live in. Outdoor activities include some of the best hunting and fishing to be found anywhere. The district is privileged to enjoy such strong community involvement. That is particularly evident in the community support for the budget.

They are on very solid financial footing and they are working hard to manage the educational resources well, making the most of the community’s backing for excellent educational programs, facilities, and support services for the students. The District knows technology in the broadest sense is the application of modern communications and computing technologies to the creation, management and use of knowledge. In an educational setting, information technology should provide students with a variety of enriching ideas and experiences that foster intellectual curiosity, achievement, and a pattern of life-long learning.

The Owego-Apalachin Central School District staff and teachers work right along with parents to provide one of the best teaching experiences for pupils. There are several different cultures and religions attending this New York Public School System so it has a very diverse background of students. Teachers are very committed to teaching these young minds and prepare them for grade advancements while preserving the ethics and cultural environment every parent expects.
