New York City District # 3 Schools
New York City District 3 is succeeding-both in the areas of technology, and in the essential areas of reading, writing and arithmetic. The New York State Education Department gives the district high marks. District 3 is preparing students to have a competitive edge for college and future job markets. The district’s athletics programs include baseball, basketball, bowling, cheerleading, cross-country running, football, golf, gymnastics, hockey, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track and field, volleyball and wrestling. District 3 offers evening Adult Education courses extend learning opportunities to everyone in the community. Opportunities are unlimited for extra-curricular activities and students' lives are enriched by drama, orchestra, concert and jazz bands, chorus, academic clubs, a radio program, web site design, and an award-winning school newspaper plus many more clubs to choose from.
