New York City District #29 Schools

New York City District #29 is located at 233-15 Merrick Blvd Rosedale, NY and this public school system provides education in Queens County. Rosedale is at the eastern edge of New York City, its border with Valley Stream forming part of the boundary between Queens and Nassau County. The neighborhood is part of Queens Community Board. It is also a neighborhood in New York City in the southeastern portion of the borough of Queens. Rosedale is bordered to the north by Cambria Heights, the east by Valley Stream (part of Nassau County), the west by Laurelton and Brookville Park, and to the south by John F. Kennedy International Airport.

The District staff members show a personal interest in developing students’ independent and creative thought, willingness to accept intellectual risks and challenges, forming superior work habits and cooperative, positive approaches to learning. While these attributes cannot always be precisely measured and adjusted, Teachers honor them and work energetically to foster their development. There is no doubt that the development of these skills brings with them not only a sense of academic achievement but also a feeling of pride and satisfaction.
