New York City District #23 offers classes such as math, science, social studies, and art classes. The district continues to stay abreast of the latest modern technology advancements to supply students the best opportunities for education. The School Board invites you to attend and participate in School Board meetings. School Board members have been elected to these positions of responsibility by your votes and they are here to serve you and the needs of the children and community. They serve without pay and spend many hours outside regular meetings studying issues on which decisions must be made. Their reward is the success of your child. The New York City District #23, in collaboration with students, parents and community, promotes innovation and change in teaching and learning through a continuous search for the most effective and efficient ways of preparing students for the 21st century.
