New York City District #11 realizes just how important education is and they provide every child with the opportunity to learn by offering free universal pre-kindergarten to help every child down the path toward a good education. District #11 is filled with plenty of great schools that have a lot to offer students at each grade level. The community made up of teachers, parents, and other local organizations work together to address areas that need improvement. The educational programs in the district offers a wide range of challenges in various subjects to meet the needs and talents of the student population including the basic educational needs of Math, English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies. The staff and teachers strive to create a learning environment that will promote self worth, respect for others, and the appreciation of learning.
