Montauk Union Free School District follows the New York State Board of Regents adopted learning standards for all areas of study. The New York State Education Department issues the core curricula and these core curricula’s are the foundation upon which State assessments are aligned and developed. Montauk curriculum documents provide the space for a tie between technology use and existing classroom instruction, but there is a need to ensure that all students are provided equal opportunity to use technology as a tool for learning. Officials at Montauk Union Free believe that all students are capable of learning, regardless of their abilities, race, color, national origin or creed, and works to make sure this responsibility is met.
