Millbrook Central School District is home at 43 Alden Place in Millbrook, New York. This district provides a quality education for students in kindergarten through 12th grade in four school facilities which are Elm Drive Elementary School for students in kindergarten through 2nd grade, Alden Place Elementary School for students in 3rd through 6th grades, Millbrook Middle School for students in 7th through 8th grades, and Millbrook High School for students in 9th through 12th grades.
the district is home in Millbrook which is around 75 miles north of New York City and 60 miles south of Albany in what is known as the Mid-Hudson River Valley. The community is home to a variety of year round residents, summer residents, retirees, and weekenders. The scenery around Millbrook is breath-taking with rolling pastures, streams, and ponds with a small town country atmosphere. The community expects high standards in their way of life and this does include the educational opportunities offered to their children.
Millbrook Central School adheres to the beliefs of the community and provides the highest standard of education with all the tools and resources available to provide the best education for each and every student that passes through their doors. The mission statement of the district is "It is our mission to prepare our students to deal effectively with the challenge of an ever-changing society and to guide them in becoming humane critical thinkers, decision makers, and problem solvers."
