Manchester-Shortsville Schools

Manchester-Shortsville Central School District is located at 1506 Route 21 Shortsville, NY and provides education to grades K-12 in Ontario County. At the upper levels, the Manchester-Shortsville Central School District offers honors classes in all core areas plus many AP and Gemini classes, allowing our students to earn college credit while still in High School.

The technology program in the Manchester-Shortsville Central School District is unsurpassed in our area. Every classroom has a minimum of four desktop computers. We also have two mobile laptop labs and three computer labs as well as a long- distance learning facility that allows our students virtually access to any place in the world. They have enjoyed such experiences as talking to the astronauts at NASA and students in England. They have, also, taken classes from such places as Stanford University in California.

Almost all of Manchester-Shortsville Central School District students are involved in some type of extra-curricular activity. Over 60% of our High School students participate in at least one sport. We, also, have musicals and an active student council to mention a few others.

The Manchester-Shortsville Central School District has an energetic teaching staff and a dynamic and innovative administrative staff who are dedicated to educating our students. They have a number of volunteers who, in a variety of ways, offer their support to both students and staff. The school combines the setting of a small school with many offerings found in a larger district. The goal is to create a partnership with the school, students and community to challenge all our learners to higher standards.
