Lyme Schools

Lyme Central School District is located at 11868 Academy Street Chaumont, NY and provides quality education for grades K through 12 for the community of Chaumont.
The goals created by the district include improved student learning with an emphasis on using the advantage of the districts small size to track the progress, needs, and success of each student, strong instructional leadership, a strong, coherent, and functional organizational structure, an emphasis on professionalism and ethical behavior, high standards of accountability, establishment of the district as a significant community recourse, and improved communication.

District curriculum coordinator works closely with administration, grade levels, and departments to ensure that curriculum is continually being reviewed, evaluated, and adjusted to meet the needs of students. Additionally, staff analyzes state and local test results as a means of changing curriculum and instruction. Technology integration and activities that provide opportunities for problem solving, students at every grade level gradually become accountable for their own learning.
