Locust Valley Central School District ensures that technology is an integral component of a learning process that empowers students to become active learners and critical thinkers. The Board of education is made up of 7 community members elected by district residents to serve overlapping three-year terms of office. The Board has the responsibility to ensure that all students receive the best education possible, as well as to express and represent the views of the community in matters affecting education.
The Locust Valley Central School District is filled with spirited and diverse students working together to attain academic excellence and personal success in a supportive environment. One of the objectives is to incorporate this multiplicity of experiences in order to create a Locust Valley community of learners. The partnership between an enthusiastic student body, a dedicated staff, and involved parents all make Locust Valley a uniquely special place to learn.
