Liverpool Central School District is located at 195 Blackberry Road Liverpool, NY providing education for grades K-12 in Onondaga County. The Liverpool Central School District encompasses the village of Liverpool and portions of the towns of Clay and Salina. More than 55,000 residents live in Liverpool and more than 8,000 students attend one of Liverpool's 10 elementary schools, three middle schools, the Liverpool High School Annex or Liverpool High School.
Some of the Liverpool Central School District students also have competed in numerous academic competitions at the regional, state, national and international level each year and have won numerous awards and accolades. Most recently the district received national recognition when the NAMM Foundation named Liverpool one of the "Best Communities for Music Education." Liverpool is one of 110 such communities nationwide to receive this coveted honor.
The Village of Liverpool is a delightful community on the north Shore of Onondaga Lake with unique shops, spectacular restaurants, lovely lakeshore trails, and warm village folk. The Village of Liverpool is approximately 1 square mile and is home to 2,600 residents. Over 35, 000 people travel through the Village of Liverpool daily.
