Kenmore-Tonawanda Schools
Kenmore-Tonawanda Union Free School District is located at 1500 Colvin Boulevard in Buffalo, New York. The district is fondly known as Ken-Ton, which includes the Village of Kenmore and most of the town of Tonawanda. The Village of Kenmore is home in the southern part of the Town of Tonawanda and borders Buffalo, New York in northwestern part of Erie County. The Town of Tonawanda is a northern suburb of Buffalo.
The district is one of the largest in the state of New York and has a reputation for excellence in academics. The district has received state and national recognition awards and is ranked among the best schools in the United States for the most progressive school districts. Kenmore-Tonawanda has always been known for their dedicated board of education, active community involvement, parental support, and a professional staff with high standards in educational ideals.
Within the district, there are 13 schools, which include Alexander Hamilton Elementary, Ben Franklin Elementary, Ben Franklin Middle, Charles A. Lindbergh Elementary, Herbert Hoover Elementary, Herbert Hoover Middle, Holmes Elementary, Kenmore East Senior High, Kenmore Middle, Kenmore West Senior High, Theodore Roosevelt Elementary, Thomas A. Edison Elementary, and Thomas Jefferson Elementary.
The district desires to maintain safe and secure schools that provide excellent educational opportunities for all students in all grade levels.
