Indian Lake Central School District is located at 28 West Main Street Indian Lake, NY and provides education to grades K through 12. This public school district is very small and all grades are housed from on facility. The Indian Lake Central School will provide an academic environment rich in practical and cultural experiences that addresses the mental and physical needs of each student and will inspire: self sufficiency, lifelong learning, creativity, responsibility, and citizenship within our Adirondack environment and beyond.
While the school may be small in population compared to some other schools, they are rich in academic excellence and expectations. Many graduating classes at Indian Lake have had a 100% placement to college or to a branch of the military. The school also pride themselves on providing an education rich in Adirondack history. The school district contains students from many surrounding communities, including Indian Lake, Blue Mountain Lake, Sabael, and Raquette Lake. Indian Lake Central School is located in the Heart of the Adirondacks, just 55 miles North of Glens Falls, NY.

The best the Adirondacks has to offer Indian Lake, Blue Mountain Lake and Sabael together comprise the centerpiece vacationland of the Adirondack Park, a 6 million acre natural sanctuary of public and private land, which stretches over nearly a third of New York State.
