Huntington Schools

Huntington Union Free School District provides out standing educational opportunities to the local community. This school system knows that learning has changed with the rapid advancement of technology, so they know education today will requires significantly different knowledge and skills than previous generations. Students must be educated to know how to learn, solve problems, and make decisions in fast changing environment. This district teaches with the vision to meet everyone’s educational needs, by developing a broad knowledge base through continual learning, re-training, and development. Everyone in the Huntington Union Free School District is focused on preparing students for the world outside. Students have the opportunity to use technology in many ways in their classrooms and the computer lab. They use laptops as part of a wireless mobile computer lab, digital cameras, scanners, printers, interactive whiteboards, and electronic microscopes.
