Guilderland Schools

Guilderland Central School District works toward the goal to empower students to be successful in the 21st century. This New York School District has been recognized for its challenging academic program, and it is considered to be one of the best. The courses provide students with many opportunities to develop and sharpen their skills, attitudes, and knowledge. Students are able to work toward a major in any of the academic areas that are offered. Wide arrays of goals for the schools are designed to enhance the learning process for the students.

The Guilderland Central School District includes 5 elementary schools, along with Farnsworth Middle School and Guilderland High School. This district teaches in a safe and orderly school environment where students will receive quality educational services without disruption or interference. Responsible behavior by students, teachers, other district personnel, parents and other visitors is essential to achieving this goal. The district has a long-standing set of expectations for conduct on school property and at school functions. These expectations are based on the principles of civility, mutual respect, citizenship, character, tolerance, honesty and integrity.
